Valentine’s Day is finally here and we should all be thinking of ways to celebrate love! Dinner on or after Valentine’s Day is a great way for you to go out and have a fantastic time at some of the best restaurants in Boston. Whether you are celebrating Valentine’s Day or Gal-entine’s Day, make plans, have a ball and take some of my suggestions to dine deliciously on this special day.
Fajitas & ‘Ritas

Celebrate at Fajitas & ‘Ritas by building your own nacho platter. Start with chips and cheese for a fantastic price of $3.27 and load it up with a choice of thirteen different ingredients ranging from steak to jalapenos. If your group is eight or more call for reservations, otherwise just stop in.
Seraphina

For pasta lovers, head to Seraphina for their incredible Penne Alla Vodka, Rigatoni Alla Bolognese or Lobster Ravioli. But, first start with their mouthwatering caprese or burrata and do not leave without trying one of their delicious desserts! Reservations are recommended for V-Day! And extra good news: a second location is opening soon on Newbury Street!
Eastern Standard

With its dark wood and dim lights, what could be more wonderful than dining in one of Eastern Standard’s cozy booths with your date or your friends? They have a killer burger and the roasted half chicken is a winner. Don’t want dinner? Their late-night menu is eclectic and fun and is served on the 14th from 11 p.m until 1:30 a.m. Think pork belly skewers to calamari to bone marrow to fries and cheese boards - something for every palate. Reservations recommended.

For fantastic Thai cuisine, look no farther than Brown Sugar on Commonwealth Avenue. This gem of a restaurant serves an extensive menu of everything from seafood to chicken and beef dishes at reasonable prices—and it tastes delicious! This is a great place for a large group. The atmosphere is festive, the servers are friendly and, in addition to the fortune cookies at the end of the meal, sorbet palate cleansers are served between courses!
Stephanie’s on Newbury

Known for attentive service, Stephanie’s has been a fixture on Newbury since 1994. I recommend the lump crab cakes, which are basically fantastic crab with just enough other ingredients to bind them together, and the three-cheese macaroni and cheese. The cobb salad served in an edible tortilla shell is a popular choice and the desserts are impressive must haves with options like the decadent Boston Cream Pie and the scrumptious Warm Chocolate Cake.

To satisfy your sweet tooth, make a stop in Max Brenner’s chocolate bar for treats ranging from milkshakes to crêpes to fondue. They also offer several dinner options, as well as chocolate cocktails. Be sure to make reservations ahead of time, since this is a popular spot for the love-inspired holiday.
