Springtime’s sporadic rainy weather can leave you feeling in a slump – especially in this final stretch to summer vacation. However, dodging puddles outside or avoiding getting wet entirely by staying inside doesn’t have to put a damper on the day. The sound of rain can provide an instant Zen environment and, with proper attire, taking a stroll during one of April’s many showers may even be enjoyable. Most importantly, this rainy weather goes perfectly with lyrically-driven, more reflective music by some seriously talented singer-songwriters. Comprised of slower-building ballads and blues-y, more upbeat tracks, here are some songs to match the gray skies and seemingly-relentless downpour. Click here for the playlist.
