Boston is a city packed with history, culture, and some of the best food and entertainment in the country. But for students, enjoying everything this vibrant city has to offer can seem out of reach when your wallet’s running on empty. Here’s how to experience Boston on a budget while making the most of your student status.
Affordable Attractions
Free Museum Days: Many museums in Boston offer free admission on certain days. The Museum of Fine Arts is free on Wednesdays after 4 PM, and the Institute of Contemporary Art is free on Thursdays from 5–9 PM. Students with a valid ID can also visit the Harvard Art Museums for free year-round.
