Boston is home to countless concert venues. From small, intimate standing-room-only venues to entire stadiums, there is always somewhere to go to experience live music. Whether you just want a fun, casual show to spice up your night or a scream-your-heart-out stadium performance, Boston is chock full of concerts that will be the perfect addition to your social calendar over the next three months.
Any fan of sad girl music will know that, over the course of the past year, both Boygenius members Lucy Dacus and Phoebe Bridgers have been touring, and now it’s time for the supergroup’s third member, Julien Baker, to take her turn. From October 21st to the 23rd, you can see her live at Middle East - Downstairs.
Playing at Fenway’s House of Blues on October 9th is the beloved singer-songwriter and rapper cupcakKe. Known for her hilarious (and ridiculous) lyrics, she’s bringing her famously fun performance to Boston. Dress in bright colors, get yourself an energy drink, and be prepared to sing your heart out about Squidward’s Nose and CPR.
If you’re upset that you missed the Malcolm Todd show at MGM Music Hall, don’t fret, because the even better singer-songwriter Steve Lacy is paying a visit to the exact same venue on October 12th and 13th. Just two days earlier, you can also see Chief Keef at MGM on Saturday, October 10th.
This October, Boston’s own T.D. Garden is hosting three huge musical stars. On October 15th, 17th, and 18th you can catch Olivia Rodrigo live. On October 28th the hit girl group Katseye will be performing, followed by John Summit, who will play his own live show the next evening.
If October is too busy a month for you, November still has plenty of live shows happening. The fan favourite Sombr will be performing at T.D. Garden on November 18th, and just five days later on November 23rd, Doja Cat takes the stage at the Garden.
Coming to Boston University campus this fall is a Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, who will be playing at Agganis Arena on November 6th.
If you’re looking for something to take your mind off your finals this December and put you into a festive mood, this year’s KISS 108’s Jingle Ball features appearances by Sombr, Nickelback, and Hilary Duff on December 13th.
Whether you’re a fan of big stadium shows or just want a chill night listening to some live music, the rest of the year is full of fun concerts all around Boston. All you have to do is grab your tickets, invite your friends, and enjoy a night out on the town.
