Karl Lagerfeld: The Designer of Fashion History

It's time to get excited, because the MET Gala of 2023 is on the horizon! This year, the Costume Institute is honoring the one and only Karl Lagerfeld at the 2023 MET Gala.

We all know that the best part of the Met Gala is seeing what all your favorite celebrities are wearing; although, sometimes it's hard to understand the connection between the theme and outfits. I mean, can someone explain to me how "camp" relates to wearing a giant hamburger costume? (Sorry Katy but that simply wasn’t it)

Karl Lagerfeld (1933-2019) was a fashion icon, visionary, and an all-around legend in the industry. From his iconic designs to his personal style, Lagerfeld was a force to be reckoned with. And now, it's time to celebrate his contributions to the fashion world.
