The Other Side of Admitted Students Day
By Lulu Schloss Graphic by Charlie Tran Admitted Terrier Day is an opportunity for newly accepted students to tour Boston University and get a real feel for the campus. This is unlike a normal tour, because there are college-specific events hosted and a large pool of new students to meet. This day is very important for prospective students who may not be 100% sure if they like BU. It gives them the chance to see the campus, talk to specific representatives from their colleges

GSU After Dark
Uncovering hidden talent in a typically empty event hall by Siena Vitucci Photograph by Olivia Thornton If you go to the George Sherman Union during the day and walk up the staircase towards the main ballroom, it always seems to be empty. But what I’ve gained still seems to outweigh the piercing sound of my alarm clock every Tuesday and Thursday morning.

Here’s where to study instead. First on the list is located in Coolidge Corner, and is open until 9 p.m. L.A. Burdick Handmade Chocolates offers premium chocolates and desserts, and plenty of seating for yourself and

The Hyatt: A Transfer Bubble
BU’s unique approach to housing transfer students by Lulu Schloss Photo by Quinn Bryant Nestled in Cambridge, in between Harvard and MIT, you will find a large modern hotel called the Hyatt Regency Boston / Cambridge . Most students at Boston University don’t know that this is a makeshift dorm. To most, this looks like a normal commercial hotel, but to me, I see my home. When I first received my housing as a new transfer student, I freaked out seeing that they had placed me
